Good Evening Everybody! Today was the last full day of camp, and we had an incredible day and evening. Tonight Jason is joined by Brett Weiss and Jeremy Kohlenbrener. They recap an awesome last day of the summer, go through EVERY award given out tonight to shout out the recipients, and break down our values awards, stick awards, and the Nate Wasserman Award. At the end of this recording, we post the speeches given and live reactions to our six values awards, the stick award, and the Nate Wasserman Award. We love you all. We love this camp. Thanks for being on this journey with us in the summer of 2024.

We have another two part extravaganza tonight on the podcast. We just finished the two most important events in Green & White: The Sing and The Relay.

In part one we bring on Cabin 12 superstars Krasny, Polovin, Rosen, & Meyers to break down the sing, talk about the results of the Sing and do a full preview of every event in the upcoming Relay.

In part 2, we are joined by 5-year all star Evan Lieberman and Rookie of the Year favorite Rex Kohner to talk about one of the closest relays we have ever seen. Everything in Green & White came down to the relay today, and we broke down how it went, who stood out, what happened during the balloon toss, and reveal which team won Green & White. Enjoy!

We are into our last week of camp and that means the cream of the crop for Green & White games and for podcasts guests. Tonight Jason is joined by veteran campers Jake Auslander and Zach Field to break down Doc’s Run, Town Day, Claim the Castle, the Hatchet Hunt, and much, more.

What a day! We just finished Day 1 of our 2-day competition with Camp Kawaga. To recap the 28 event day we first have on 11 and Under starts Judah Nitzkin, Eli Thompson, and Jack Boehnke. They break down a lot of 11U events today including 5 Newcomb games, 5 softball games and a hockey game.

Then we bring on 12 year camper/counselor and podcast favorite Andrew Blechman who is visiting this week. Hi Everybody! On this episode of the podcast, Jason is joined by CITs Chase Kaplan, Max Agins & Tyler Field. They recap an awesome couple days at camp including Jeremy’s surprise 20th Year celebration, Mid-Summer Madness, an AMAZING Max Agins trip week story, and we hear the guys do impressions of Jason.

Some of you might be looking for a Part 2 of this podcast that talks about an extremely negative experience we had competing at another camp on Thursday night the 18th. We stand by everything we shared in the original recording. We accurately described how campers felt in the moment and how we were treated there. However, keeping that part of the recording online in perpetuity serves no purpose, and we want to continue, as we do at Menominee, talking positively about our kids and our values rather than focusing our attention outward. We’ll have more to say on this on tomorrows podcast.

It’s our third LIVE episode of the summer! Tonight, Jeremy Kohlenbrener once again joins Jason to record a live podcast during a fun special event at camp. We hosted the local Rhinelander 15U Hodags baseball team for a friendly game against the boys in Green (actually white tonight).
