‘Is it better to have loved and lost, or never to have loved at all’?

Once again I want to apologize for the lack of Words just recently, but it’s that same old problem with the computer connection. I’m on right now though, and despite the late hour I want to write something.

The Whites came good in the end. They won the Relay by a convincing margin and thus the competition overall. They had trouble getting that balloon up the hill, but they made it to the flagpole as the Greens were still stoking that fire. What a great Relay this year.

Today saw the completion of the Twilight League Championships. What a beautiful day for it too. We had the awards ceremonies this evening, so Taps did not sound out across the camp grounds until 11.00. A long day, but a good one.

The boys get on the buses at 8.30 tomorrow morning after a 6.45 wake-up; in which case I should get some sleep too.

All has been well and all is well, so safely rest.
