Bringing Home the Win

‘I’ve won and I’ve lost, and while you can learn a lot from a loss, winning just feels so much better.’

Yes folks; 4-3 to the good guys last night. It was a fiercely contested game played in front of a boisterous, but good-natured crowd. What a great way to start the week. It showed the Senior boys just how to play the game and what was (is) expected of them tomorrow and Thursday.

Talking of which. Team practices are over, so let the games begin! We have a half day of competition tomorrow afternoon, before the main course (so to speak) on Thursday. The weather might play a part in proceedings I’m afraid. The forecast is for some rain at some point tomorrow. That said, they forecast rain today, but we have just narrowly missed a big storm that passed by to the north of us. People in Eagle River were getting drenched while here at CM we escaped with a few drops. Let’s hope the weather gods allow us to do our thing over the next two days.

We are going to have an early night tonight (me too), so that we can be properly rested and refreshed for tomorrow.

Camp just gets better, and all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
