‘The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. Think about that.’

‘The Whites can fight, the Green are mean, but who will win, it will be seen.’

Green and White kicked off tonight as we sat around the camp fire telling stories about the history of the Greens and the Whites. The White people appeared from the woods, and the Green people came across the lake in the new pedal boat. They then began to tell everyone what it took to lead the respective teams. (It’s at times like this that I’m glad our colours are not black and white, haha). Everyone then entered the ‘bomb shelter/storm shelter’ and found their name written on the wall either in green or white chalk. So the teams are now assembled; let the colour war begin.

Before all that happened it was a regular Lazy Day Sunday. Lots of cabin activities and some TLL this afternoon. Throw in some great food and Canteen, and it was a terrific day.

The Senior cabin are, right now, in the ‘studio’ up front as they report back from the camper council from this morning. In a late-night edition of Ask The Director, they put some of the questions, posed by other campers, to Jason.

And on this muggy, buggy night, that is it. Green and White will dominate proceedings for the next week or so, and all is well, so safely rest.
