‘Absence makes the heart grow stronger’.

When the world is run by computers, only then will I know what a mess we will be in. We have become so reliant on these mechanical brains that when they fail us our world falls apart. That’s how I have felt these past two days as I have been unable to access the website and the Word. But I think we are good for the rest of the summer now, so…..

Green and White has continued apace. The Whites are definitely the more dominant of the two teams at this point, although there is still a lot of competition to go. Today we are taking a break from everything as we take the boys to Minocqua for Town and Day and the ski show.

We completed the MCAA leagues yesterday with lots of winners across the many sports we played. The Long Drive contest on the golf course was contested and won by Jason, and the Doc’s Runners took to the road this morning in the annual 4.5 mile Sunday morning race.

So we’ve done a lot and we still have a lot to do. I have to go and get ready for the rest of the day (ducks in a row and all that).

All is well – save for the computer glitch – so safely rest.
