‘What is the use of saying that, ‘many hands make light work’, when the same copybook also tells you that, ‘too many cooks spoil the broth’? The Observer, February 1923
I’m writing this morning as I could not get on the computer last night. As we came out of the rec’ hall at almost 10.00 we got ‘hit’ by a small cloud burst and that kind of weather does for the computer connection. But it is quiet and cool now and things are flying. To think that we put men on the moon over 45 years ago, and yet we still struggle with this computer stuff all these years later. We also had a power outage – albeit very briefly – but it just goes to show how humble and weak we really are in the face of mother nature.
Anyway, we are still here and doing our camp thing. The CITs took off for their mini-break at the Dells and the Senior cabin went to town this evening. Before that it was another normal day, in as much as we completed another round of Big Ten instructional and leagues. The Juniors and Intermediates played TLL this evening, and what was left of the senior age group finished watching their movie from Sunday night’s movie night.
The boys are having a great time and all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
