Please forgive the late posting of this Word, but technical difficulties (possible weather related) slowed me down last night. The connection is always faster in the morning, so here I am.
We got a lot done yesterday despite the inclement weather. For a short spell in the afternoon I thought the sun had got the better of the cloud cover, but it was not to be and the cloud cover turned into some much needed rain. This meant that we didn’t get everything done in the way that we wanted to, but the rain only slows us down; it does not stop the show altogether. We did manage to start Twilight League – our evening softball program – and we did go inside for Song and Cheer night and we did open the canteen on time. We did have to finish the morning instructional stuff – The Final Four we call it – a little early because of the rain, but other than that we got off to a flying start.
Everyone has settled into their cabins and all is well, so safely rest.
