I think that the jet stream dropped a few hundred miles today, and with it came an Alaskan summer. As luck would have it this meant that the conditions were perfect for Message to Garcia. Given that the boys had to go into the woods as part of the game, and in so doing we require them to wear long pants and long sleeves, there were no 85 degree temperatures to contend with and thus no over-heated bodies. Every cloud…..
They played the game hard for over an hour this afternoon and it was enjoyed by everyone. I don’t have the result to hand, but I will bring you the final score tomorrow.
So B & A is done for another year. Twilight League continues, as indeed it did this evening, just as the sun did eventually break through the clouds.
I’ve just come from the mess hall where the boys are having an all-camp pizza party; a well-earned pizza party I might add. Instead of blowing Taps over the p.a, I played Piggies instead and they went crazy as they ran into the mess hall for the sought after Dina Mia.
I could tell from their smiling faces that all is well, so safely rest.
