Seven More Wins

‘The job isn’t done until the job is done.’

What a great day!! 26-16 we lead, with the cancelled stuff from yesterday to come tomorrow. This included a softball sweep and the wrestling. We even took a few football games off them too! The Juniors stood firm and have provided us with most of the highlights of the day. But whether it is 13C soccer, 16B volleyball, or 11 archery and riflery, a win is a win and we’ll take every win we can get in order to get the job done.

We woke early so that the Senior cabin could get the guys going by running through the cabins and making sure that everyone was up and dressed in their jersey. Straight from breakfast we gathered at the flagpole for traditional ‘kangaroos’. This is where each team is called up and they join hands and around the flag pole make a cheer for that particular team. It’s a way of bringing everyone together and reinforcing the team ethic.

So it’s looking good tonight. I don’t want to tempt fate, but I am very optimistic that we can finish, tomorrow, what we have started so well today. We’re looking forward to playing and I’m looking forward to telling you all about it.

All is more than well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
