How to make the boys go wild; simply announce a surprise social at dinner! This is what we did and that is what they did. The girls from Camp Agawak came over to party with us down at Sand Lake this evening. We laid on the music and the cookies and juice, and the campers did the rest. They left here at 9.00 and the boys are now in Wasserman Hall closing up the day by singing Taps.
Prior to that we have had what we would call a normal day. That would be Final Four instructional activities in the morning and MCAA league action in the afternoon. As the day wore on so the weather got better. By General this afternoon we had plenty of people back in the lake swimming and skiing. What a contrast to Monday and Tuesday.
Just after lunch we took the all-camp picture for this year. We like to pose it in front of the lake and the sun shone right on cue.
Tomorrow Steve and Bari will be taking the CITs on their Minneapolis trip. They will be gone for just a couple of days, but should you feel the need to e-mail them then please feel free as they will have their computers with them. Can anyone really ‘go away’ anymore?
I’m reading to the boys in cabin 6 tonight, so please forgive me as I run off and do that. Everything is going as planned, and all is well, so safely rest.
