‘We’re having a heat-wave, a tropical heat-wave’. Summer camp in the sun is the best place to be. Today we had fun in the sun and then some. Although it was just a regular old day, it’s hard not to have fun when the weather is good and you can get outside to enjoy it.
The CITs took off on their overnight trip to the Dells this morning, and the Senior cabin are on their night off in town. The rest of us took part in our first skit night of the summer, Commercial night. Each cabin had to produce a skit (a short dramatic piece) that they acted out on stage in Wasserman Hall. They were very funny and creative, but only two cabins could win their respective age groups and the honor this time round went to Cabin’s 3 and 13 respectively.
We’ve just had a cooling-off shower that will help bring the temperature down and Taps has been played. That’s one week done already, and all is well, so safely rest.
