The Sun Goes Down

What a great game of Creatively Acquire the Energy Source this morning. Out on the soccer field under a blue sky, the Sun and Wind teams faced each other for the last time. It went according to the form book as the Wind took the first game. Then, however, the Sun started to heat up, and with some electrifying runs they tied up the series 1-1. It all came down to game three and the Sun had the momentum. How fitting that it should be one of the youngest boys in camp who made the final play of the game – a tag as the Wind were taking it home – and won it for the Sun.
The Sun took the final game, but it was the Wind who won overall. It has been a great competition and everyone has enjoyed themselves. Sun and Wind is back to stay!
With the sun (the real sun) still out this afternoon, most people headed for the waterfront during Prime Time. I don’t think I’ve seen the lake so alive all summer, with sail boats and body-boards and canoes going in all directions.
This evening was the last bit of regular season action in TLL. Tomorrow will be the championships.
We finished with a big bonfire down at Sand Lake. We even had the pizza delivery man pay us a visit.
Another great day in another great summer.
All is well on Wednesday, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
