Town Day

Posted: August 7 2017

‘If you aint livin’ on the edge, then you aint living’.’

And we lived on the edge yesterday. It was very late by the time we got back from town. We watched the whole of the ski show for once, which meant that we did not get back to camp until almost 9.30. It was dark by then, and that was perfect for the final event of the day, The Way. Getting out to The Way and then hearing so many people speak meant that is was 11pm by the time we got back to the cabins. By this time we were all ready for bed. Some Lazy Day. haha. Hence the reason why I am writing this this morning.

So yesterday was dominated by Town Day. We did – 47 of us –  run Doc’s Run at 07.30 before that. And the Menominee Masters took place at the same time, but other than that it was town and the ski show. There’s only so much you can do in Minocqua, but the boys really enjoy their time there. It is a great way to spend an afternoon. Our reputation is such that the good people of Minocqua look forward to our visit and all the trade that it generates.

I’m up early to write this and get ready for another very busy day. We have some big events taking place, and I’ll tell you about those tonight. Promise.

It’s going to be a great day, because all is well, so safely rest.

Good morning everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
