WOODY’S WORD 19th June 2014

‘If your lips would keep from slips, five things observe with care; to whom you speak, of whom you speak and how and when and where’. Anon

Day three and things are gathering momentum. Everyone is doing well and is settled in. It doesn’t take long to forget what was happening last week and to adjust to your new surroundings in the North Woods.
We had another normal day today, and that translates as Final Four, Collegiate Games = structure. We did have a little free play after dinner which was a great time for each cabin to go and find a camp-site for Sunday night hot-dog cookout. We even make that into a competition too; a competition that I judge as that was something I always enjoyed doing when I was a cabin counselor back in the day.
We played Menominee Squares in Wasserman Hall this evening, a game that is so obviously based upon the Hollywood Squares game that so many of you will know from the television.
We have a very interesting day planned for tomorrow. All will be revealed at 9am wake-up. But in order to wake-up we must first go to sleep, which is exactly what I am going to do right now.
It’s a cool 57 as I sign off tonight, and all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
