WOODY’S WORD 1st July 2013

‘You don’t drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying in there’. EDWIN LOUIS COLE

We have an ’empty’ camp tonight. The trips went out this morning and one of the younger cabins is sleeping under the stars (in tents) over at the Sugar Camp Creek, so that doesn’t leave many of us here. Camp is an eerie place when there is no-one around. Like a school, summer camps are meant to have noise and laughter and children, so trip ‘week’ helps us (me) really appreciate what a ‘real’ camp should be like.

With only the Juniors left here, bedtime was a breeze. The boys were asleep by 10 and all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
