WOODY’S WORD 23rd June 2013

‘There are two kinds of light; the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures’. James Thurber.

More apologies for the late post folks. Time and the internet got the better of me yesterday. It had nothing to do with the fact that it was Lazy Day. We – the administration and staff – don’t get lazy just because it’s Lazy Day. Sometimes though things happen that are just beyond us. Such is life.

We did go to bed late last night as the camp was bathed in moonlight from the fullest, roundest moon there ever was. It started out as a hazy, misty glow over the lake, but by the time I turned in it was at it’s magisterial best, high in the sky. We’ve seen nature in all its glory this week; sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but always there.

Cabin activities and a lot of free play was the order of the day on Lazy Sunday. Everyone was active and enjoying all that we have to offer, especially the lake on this hot day.

That’s just about one week completed, and all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
