“He who climbs the ladder, must begin at the bottom.”

Today was a very normal, structured day. By that I mean that we did Big Ten instructional in the morning followed by some King of the Camp this afternoon. We played Twi-Light League this evening, so that is about as normal as normal can be here. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s structure that some of these guys crave. They might not know that they crave it, but they know they miss it when it isn’t there.

Right now the whole camp is in the Mess Hall, Horse Racing. This is when the Senior cabin, as the horses, ferry cabin’s 3 and 4, ‘the little guys’, as the jockeys, around a racetrack in the Mess Hall, as the spectators cheer them on while placing their chips on a potential winner. This is classic silly fun at camp. And if we can’t do this kind of stuff at camp, then when can we do it?

It’s 70 degrees as I write this, and all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
