‘We all live under the same sky, but we do not all have the same horizon’ KONRAD ADENAUER

What a long day it has been. And what a great competition it was. I’m sorry to say that we fell short of an overall win, but I’m happy to say that everyone played their collective heart out. We finished the day in style as we took the wrestling cup with an emphatic victory and without the need to complete all the matches in the wrestling meet. The 13 year olds won almost every event they played here at CM, and while victories were harder to come by at Kawaga, I want you all to know that the boys represented themselves and you and us in the Menominee way. They played hard, they played fair, they hustled, they tried and they did it with sportsmanship and style. Things look bright for the future!

As I write this the rain is thundering down. We need the rain and I’m so glad its come at night. We are going to have a lie-in tomorrow morning and a lazy-day style day afterwards.

What a great experience today has been. I feel proud to have been a part of it. In fact we all do; and that’s why all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever..WOODY!
