“The road to success is always under construction.”
And the road to our success is now under construction, too. We have the small matter of the competition against our friends from out west next week. This is not an inconsiderable matter, so we will spend the next two days formulating teams and putting in some extra practice so that we might put ourselves in the best possible position to enjoy some success on Monday and Tuesday,
Tonight, by way of a taster for next week, we are hosting a basketball match against our great rivals in the GreenHouse. I’ve just left the game at the end of the third quarter with CM down nine points 41-50. There’s plenty of time to make a comeback, and with the noise and the energy echoing off the walls in there, this game could go either way.
Since I last wrote, we have been ‘attacked’ by the interweb gremlins. Indeed, as I understand it, half the country was without the internet yesterday as the satellites failed around the globe, apparently. Whatever the issue (and do we ever really know what goes on with this stuff?), we are back online tonight. We have socialisesd with Chippewa; we’ve been dumped on by some good rain; we sang songs on Song Night (make up a camp-related song using a tune of your choice); survival skills went on their camping trip and had a great time; the White team won the cross-camp-classic, and all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
