Hello everybody

What a day of competition!! At one point we were staring into the abyss, as things were going against us and we found ourselves 29-19 down. But by day’s end the score was/is 31-31. The reason for that was not only our great comeback, but the weather that came and ruined everything. The rain folks, oh the rain. It didn’t rain for long, but when it came it came with some anger. It certainly put paid to the basketball games, and eventually the softball games had to be called too. Soooooo….we will go back at it tomorrow morning. There are nine events still to be played: five, 11 and under basketball games, and four, 16 and under softball games. We are up in three of those already, and we will pick up right where we left off. I’d like to think, therefore, that the momentum is with us. I will not count my chickens just yet, but we are all confident and optimistic that we can finish the job tomorrow morning.

In other news….there is no other news! What can trump the competition right now? Nothing.

We’re all tied up at 31 a piece, and all is well, so safely rest.
