“Even the thousand mile road has a first step.”
We have started that journey this morning as our competition with Camp Kawaga got underway. We go to bed tonight 11 – 17 behind, but nowhere near down and out. We have many more games to play, with 37 being the magic number to secure an overall victory. Both teams need a lot of wins, so both teams have a chance of winning this.
It was an early start today (7am) in order to beat the rain that threatened (but never came), so we were done by 3.30 this afternoon. Tomorrow will run a lot longer (and another early start), so we have already blown Taps as everyone is pretty tired as you can imagine. The boys are excited to continue the job they have started, and they will be even happier if we can turn this around. But whether we do, or whether we don’t, all is (and will be) well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody
As ever…WOODY!
