“Don’t worry about what if: worry about what is.”
Another great day of Green and White. We played Bari’s Biffs this morning (always a fan favourite), and British Bulldogs this afternoon. As I understand it – and I’m never quite sure with these things – is that the White’s are ahead by a little. I can never be quite sure because of the points system of scoring and winning a certain event, and the de-merits that are sometimes taken into account. That said, I’m reasonably confident in my assertion that the White’s lead going into Lazy Day Sunday tomorrow.
Our last Lazy Day of the summer, and it’s also Town Day. I’m telling you that now in case I don’t get to write tomorrow night (Sunday’s usually run quite late). It’s also Doc’s Run at 7am. Named after our long-time doctor, Kenny Miller, Doc’s Run is a competitive ‘jog’ of 4.5 miles along highway’s D and O under the canopy of trees that line the roadway. If everyone who has signed up turns up, then we will have in excess of 150 people running, raising the best part $20,000 in the process.
The boys are just finishing Rock Band Night in Wasserman Hall, and then it will be lights out by 10.30, so that we might all get a good night’s rest before another busy day tomorrow.
Just as well that all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
