“Happiness is simply a state of mind, and it does not, necessarily, care what goes on around you. Just be happy, no matter what.”
The Whites have turned it around! They now lead the competition going into what is effectively a rest day from everything. We not long ago finished the wrestling meet in the GreenHouse. It went to the final match in which the Whites were victorious, and now they lead the competition. Exciting stuff! We were going to end the day with the Hatchet Hunt for the Seniors, but the rain has put paid to that, so the boys are in Wasserman Hall right now for Rock Band. This is a non-competitive event that is designed purely for the boys and staff to showcase their musical talents. I hate to be rude and not watch it (I have no great musical talent, so I don’t participate), but it does give me the chance to write the Word and, hopefully, get an early night. I’m beat and we’re up early again tomorrow for Doc’s Run. Almost 90% of the camp appear to be running tomorrow (how times have changed), so I anticipate a record entry for the start of the race at O and 70.
With the rain easing off and the dulcet tones of the girls’ singing wafting across camp, you know that all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody.
As ever…WOODY!
