‘Can computers think? Can submarines swim?’ EDGAR DIJKSTRA

Once again I am compelled to apologize for not posting last night. It was that computer glitch thing, something about which there is nothing I can do. I am at the mercy of the technology that so governs and dictates our lives. But I’m back tonight and it’s running just fine right now.

We’ve been in town most of the day, the town of Minocqua for Town Day. This is always one of the highlights of the summer and we make the most of it by staying late and watching the Minocqua Bat ski show.

Earlier this morning – much earlier – we ran the annual Doc’s Run, a 4.5 mile jaunt down highways O and D. We had 22 participants including the Doc himself, the very doc who started it all back in the 1980s. Everyone finished, so everyone is a winner. The golfers also went out early to contest the Menominee Masters, so we’ve had a lot going on.

Last night we socialized with the ladies from Chippewa Ranch camp and this is now the fourth time the internet has kicked me off, so I shall I have to bid you all goodnight right now if I want to get this posted. But don’t worry; all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
