“Intelligence is what you use when you don’t know what to do”.
Hello everybody
It’s Friday of trip week, and everyone is home safe and sound. The last canoe trip hit the beaches at 5.30 this evening, and now we are back at full-strength. Trip week is a strange week in as much as we know the boys are out there having great fun; it’s just that they’re not doing it here. Soooo….we got together after lowering the flag this evening and had ‘Tales from the Trips”. We have taken to sitting outside on the basketball court, rather than go into Wasserman Hall, as we feel that this might be a healthier option than gathering together in an enclosed space. Anyway: this is when we go around the ‘room’ and anyone can get up and tell us stories, be they funny or just plain memorable, about the trip they have just been on. As is usually the case when we do this, the stories were a mix of the funny and memorable, and some were just plain silly, and that’s ok. What is memorable and/or funny to one person, might not be so to someone else. Such is life. Different strokes for different folks, and all that.
Having got everyone back here, then we had to play some TLL this evening. What would camp be without some TLL, especially on yet another beautiful evening like this. It would have been wrong not to play some softball when the weather was this good.
So the final weekend of the the first session is almost upon us, and all is well, so safely rest.
Goodnight everybody
As ever…WOODY!
