Our mission is to help unlock the potential of our campers so they can be the best version of themselves. We don’t think it is enough to simply teach our boys how to swing a bat, get up on water-skis or shoot a bullseye. Campers today are capable of so much more and we want to help bring out the best in each of them. Behind our dynamic program is a set of core values that guides us. We promote personal development and teamwork so that the boy your son wants to be, will grow at Camp Menominee.

Recently we learned of the passing of Steve Wasserman (pictured upper left), the son of Alan and Elaine Wasserman and the grandson of CM’s Founders Nate and Edna Wasserman. This sad correspondence was conveyed by Steve’s sister, and longtime Marimeta camper, Susie Redfern. Steve spent many summers at Menominee, was the 1970 overall Green Team Captain and was a resident for virtually his entire adult life of his adopted hometown of Berkeley CA. He had a lifetime affection for books and poetry. Steve worked as a librarian at his local public library for more than 30 years and was the uncle of Susie’s and Paul’s son Corey Redfern the grandson of Al and Elaine who was also a CM camper. Steve will be greatly missed. We send nothing but love to all of Steve’s family and friends. 💚🤍
