A camper’s potential homesickness, social anxieties or food allergies might keep him (and his parents) awake at night, but you can rest assured because he’s not the only boy having these anxious feelings before his first summer... and that is a good thing. Our leaderships staff has over 120 collective years of experience working with families to prepare for a wide range of concerns brought up before camp. Then, at camp, our staff is focused on providing personalized care like parents would do at home. Get to know some of our current campers (names are changed of course!) and learn how our experienced administration handles each case. Perhaps you’ll share some of our current families’ same concerns...
Nervous about being away from home
Anxious about tryouts after camp
Must be careful about what he eats
Not the most competitive kid
Coming to camp without friends
May have too many friends going to camp
His ADHD presents social and behavioral challenges
Stubborn about doing certain activities
If you share any of the same concerns or have ones of your own, please know we’re here to help. Current families will tell you that the best way to prepare for a great summer is to have a phone call, so let’s get the conversation started.
