You get it all! Combine first session and second session for an epic eight-week Full Season! It’s the best bang for your buck and your son will thank you afterward because he’s guaranteed to miss none of the action. Our eight-week campers are often selected as captains and leaders for various activities because of their experience.

As our Assistant Director Woody eloquently puts it, “A summer at CM is like a game of soccer: a game of two halves. Quite often the two halves are like two different and distinct games. If you only come for the first session–as good as that is–you then miss the second, where the numbers of campers increase, final campfire awards are handed out, final standings are fought over, and sincere, heart-felt goodbyes can be said. A camper should come for eight weeks, if possible, so that they can experience the whole show. Camp has a lot to offer anyone who really wants to embrace it, and four weeks never feels like quite enough.”

Every summer begins when a group of rad dads and their sons gather at Menominee for the best weekend of the year. Sons ages 4-16 make their way to The Friendly Confines on Thursday afternoon, and after once you’re settled into your cabin the endless possibilities begin.
Watch the highlights from last year!
Activities include relay races, bonfires on the shores of Sand Lake, a mini “Green & White” color war, the annual “Fathers vs. Sons” softball game, bingo for prizes, and free time to enjoy all camp has to offer: waterskiing, canoeing, tubing, zip-lining, the climbing wall, archery, riflery, and all of our courts and fields.
No matter what you choose to do or how old your son is, every son races to be the first one to drop a water balloon on his dad’s head.
We can go on forever about how much fun these dads and boys have, but we’ll let pictures speak for themselves. You can also learn more here!
Rookie camp is for the first time camper, and the two weeks goes by like the blink of an eye. All “Rookies” live in the same cabins as full session campers and participate in the same activities. They feel the excitement and energy of the start of camp, where campers sign up for instructional periods, join multiple sports team, and find counselors to teach them a new skill like water-skiing or archery.

The program gives first-time campers a real overnight camp experience, where boys must adjust to a new environment and learn to be responsible for themselves. Rookies will make new friends in and out of his cabin, socialize with a nearby girls camp, and head into the woods for Sunday hot-dog cookouts with his cabin.
Many of our Rookies want to stay for two more weeks which, by the way, we are happy to accommodate! As our Assistant Director Woody eloquently puts it, “If you like the first chapter, then keep reading and discover the whole plot.”

Family vacations are so important. Every minute spent with our kids and relatives away from life’s distractions should be cherished. The only problem is, they can be so expensive! Well what if we told you that you could come spend a whole week at our own all-inclusive resort in the beautiful North Woods of Wisconsin, have an amazing experience with your family AND keep it well under your budget?? Welcome to Camp Menominee Family Camp.
At Family Camp, you will have every inch of our 65 acre estate at your fingertips. You can thrill seek on our 50-foot climbing wall, conquer your fears on our 400-foot zip line, develop new skills like water skiing, or just open up a lounge chair and relax on the shores of beautiful sand lake. Every court, field and facility we have to offer will be yours to enjoy, experience and make new memories with your family.
During a typical day, we’ll have organized activities like Green & White Color War events or sand volleyball tournaments, and there will also be free time and open periods where you can do whatever you’d like. We have our staff there for anything you need (including babysitting so mom and dad can have some time away).
In the evenings we host talent shows, bingo nights and head out into town for the County Fair. We of course can’t forget about our famous campfires down by Sand Lake each evening where the s’mores are unlimited!
Each family will rent their own private cabin that has a bathroom. Camp provides fresh linens and towels so you don’t have to bring your own. Finally, we serve 3 meals a day with plenty of fresh and healthy options for the parents, and kid friendly items for the youngsters.
