“I look forward to being older, when what you look like becomes much less of an issue, but what you are is the point.” Susan Sarandon

Once again we have just a few campers with us here at the Friendly Confines tonight. Yesterday’s canoe trip is back, while the younger group are in the same place this evening. Rain and cool winds meant that most of the canoe trip today had to be modified. Indeed, the weather had a huge impact on just about everything we did today. “The sun did not shine, it was too wet to play…” (I paraphrase Dr Zeus here), so we couldn’t do everything we planned, BUT, we did lots of other things instead. With the benefit of the GreenHouse, we were able to play sports inside, and once the rain did let up, the second group of canoers set off for the Sugar Camp Creek. Earlier this morning, the Juniors headed north to Copper Falls where they will spend tonight. Meanwhile, all the other trips are enjoying themselves wherever they are.

Trip week is always strange with so many people coming and going. I will be glad when they are all back with us tomorrow for dinner. And with 4th July fast approaching, who knows what might happen next. Haha.

Despite the autumnal weather today, all is well, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
