‘When you’re smiling the whole world smiles with you…’ Goodwin and Shay

What a wonderful day. The sun shone for almost all of it and the waterfront was alive with the sound of boys jumping into the water and skiing round the lake and rolling on the new log-roll toy we have down there. A perfect camp day; indeed, a perfect summer day.
It was a normal day as far as normal CM days go. Two instructional periods in the morning, and two MCAA leagues in the afternoon, plus all the General free time the boys could want, to do as they want.
In the evening it was out to the ball fields for some Twilight League and after canteen it was time for our campfire, Change the Movie Ending Night.
The weather gods are meant to provide much the same tomorrow, so it was a bit of a surprise that the computer would not connect at the end of the day. Normally when the weather is clear and quiet the internet connection is fast and reliable. But I got here in the end – as did the pictures.
It’s the weekend, and all is well, so safely rest.
