WOODY’S WORD 27th July 2013

‘My dog ate my essay, teacher sir. It’s true, he really did; I had to force him, but he did eat it’. JIMMY EDWARDS

The camp fires are burning tonight folks. It’s true, they really are. For most of the day we have had a log fire burning in the lodge as the temperature has dipped down into the low 50s. We’ve now got the fires burning in the cabins too. Yes, it’s a chilly one. Something to do with the jet stream I think. 44 tonight. Brrrr!

We enjoyed some more competition today against the boys from Camp Timberlane. We came out on top by a score of 7-6. We played a bunch of different sports, sports we did not play against Kawaga on Thursday, so everyone has now got a taste of what it’s like to compete.

The Senior cabin and the CITs are out on the town tonight and the boys are in bed and that’s where I’m headed. I can safely rest as all is well, so you can too.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
