We’re meeting a ton of new people right now, and there’s not a golf ball in sight. Yes folks, the buses rolled in this afternoon and session two is underway. For those of you not familiar with the way we do things here at CM, my name is Woody and I will be writing the daily post – Woody’s Word – every evening (computer connection permitting). This is designed to keep you guys out there up to date with us up here in Eagle River. We have a lot to do this session, and if it’s half as good as the first session was then we are in for quite a ride.
Almost every cabin is full and the place was rocking this evening as we went into the recreation hall for the candy/food blowout. There shouldn’t be any food left in the cabins after tonight.
We then went down to the fire for a real campfire and some songs and introductions on this beautiful evening next to the lake.
The summer continues with more sports, more socials, more competitions, more fun and loads more energy.
Thank you so much to all the parents and family members who visited us this weekend. It was great to see so many familiar faces and so many people who have been coming to CM for so many years. I hope you have made your reservations for next summer already!
All is well as we start the second session, so safely rest.
