“Thousands have lived without love, but no-one can live without water.”

The Whites are really starting to dominate Green and White this year. They won again this morning in the counsellor hunt, by simply finding more people who were worth many points. Yours truly remained hidden for the entirety of the game (30 minutes, although it seemed longer from where I was), so no-one could claim the 32 points on offer for finding me.

We played a new game this afternoon, a game that involved squirt guns and lots of running (sound familiar), but also required some cerebral matter as clues had to be interpreted and acted upon. This mixture of ‘shooting’, running and clue-solving was all over by 3.30, which was just as well as it was getting hot, and the long pants rule for the woods was trying everyone. I’m waiting for the final result from that game, but, as I write this, they are out with their squirt guns again playing Midnight Manhunt. I cannot wait until that is over before publishing this, so for those of you with Green sympathies, you will have to wait until tomorrow to see if the gap between the two teams has been reduced, or if the Whites have moved further ahead. There is still a lot of Green and White to play, including The Sing and The Relay, so nothing is finished just yet.

The Ten Year Club was celebrated with the induction of four new members this evening, and the CITs came home from their trip, so all is well, so safely rest.
