“Money: the one thing that keeps us in touch with our children.”

Trip week is almost done. The Intermediate boys are in the woods at the Sugar Camp Creek tonight, after canoeing across Sand and Dam lakes respectfully, while the Juniors are sitting on the hill overlooking Sand Lake watching a movie under the stars. We’ve blown up the portable movie screen, and placed it in front of Koz’s House. They are having their Canteen on the hill as a special, one-off treat, and they will be good until 9.45.

The road trips are still out there in the real world somewhere. The Wisconsin Dells is where most of them are. It has been great down there these past few days. Perfect weather for a water park adventure. The Senior Cabin are white water rafting near Green Bay. But everyone will be back tomorrow for dinner and then some Twilight League. It’s back to normal! I love the fact that the boys get to go on these trips, but I love it even more when we are all back together. And it’s only when we are all back together, here at the Friendly Confines, when I will know for sure that all is well, so that we can all safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
